  • Why am I being charged $5 for a paper bill?
    Producing and mailing paper bills involves printing, handling, and postage costs. The $5 fee helps cover these expenses. Go paperless for free—it’s easier for you and better for the environment. Sign up for eBill through your My Account.
  • How do I avoid this charge?
    To avoid the $5 paper bill fee, you can switch to paperless billing at no cost.

    You can sign up for eBill via your My Account:

  • If I don’t enroll in eBill, when will the fee start appearing?
    The $5 fee will begin on your February 2026 bill. It will appear as a separate line item labeled “Paper Bill Fee”.
  • How do I set up MyAccount if I don’t already have one?
    Click here, select "Register Now", and follow the prompts to sign up for My Account.
  • How do I enroll in eBill from MyAccount?
    To enroll in eBill, login to My Account, and follow the step-by-step guide below.
    1) At the Account Overview page - click the Billing tab.

    2) Click on the 'Paperless Billing' tab.
    3) Change your billing preference from a paper bill to an electronic bill by selecting 'Enroll me in eBill Paperless Billing'.
    4) Agree to the Terms and Conditions and click 'Enroll Now'.

    5) Status of 'Enrolled' will display that confirms your selection.

  • If I don’t enroll in eBill, when will the fee start appearing?
    Starting with your February 2026 bill, a $5 “Paper Bill Fee” will appear as a separate line item. Switch to paperless billing anytime to avoid this fee—it’s quick, secure, and easy to manage online.
  • If I move to paperless billing, will I have access to past bills?
    Yes, you can access bills that are up to 18 months in the past.
  • Can I switch back to paper bill anytime?
    Yes, you can switch back to a paper bill at anytime in your My Account but charges will apply based on your selection.
