At Hawaiian Telcom, we work hard on your behalf to keep prices as low as possible. We value you as a customer and are committed to providing the latest products and technology. Despite our best efforts to absorb fees passed to our customers, rising costs have impacted pricing. There will be price increases for the following products.

1. Why is Hawaiian Telcom doing price increases?  
Hawaiian Telcom is committed to investing in network and system upgrades that enhance our customers' entertainment and communications experience.  The Price adjustments will allow us to cover the increasing costs of doing business in 2026, while continuing to provide critical services to our customers.  
 

2. What is the Utility Surcharge for?
Utility Surcharge is a fee that will be applied to customers with any eligible products. Eligible products are any non-tariffed products on your bill (ex. Internet, Ethernet, services, VOIP services, etc).
 

3. My service Frame Relay, and DSL Transport was recently Grandfathered effective May 2026, am I impacted by this price increase?
Yes, Hawaiian Telcom will continue your current service on a month-to-month term at the new rates effective 9/1/26. This will allow you to continue benefiting from the latest promotion for your service.  
 

4. My service Frame Relay, and DSL Transport is part of a ICB contract currently in term, will my account be impacted?  
ICB contracts will in effect are excluded from this price increase. However, Grandfathering of the product will still apply.  

5. Why is my ISDN PRI service being put on a new term?   
To ensure you continue to receive the best rate for your service, rather than migrating you to a standard service rate, per the Service and Rate Guide PUC Tariff 20., Hawaiian Telcom may put you on the newest promo offering available instead. This will allow you to continue benefiting from the latest promotion for your service.

6. Why is my Centrex Biz Plus or Business Choice Connect service being put on a Month-to-Month term?
Your current Centrex Biz Plus or Business Choice Connect promo has expired. Rather than migrating you to a standard rate for service, you will be moved to a month-to-month Centrex Biz Plus promo rate at $42.99 per line. 

7. Why is my Centrex Biz Plus or Business Choice Connect service being put on a Month-to-Month term?
Yes, out of term expired contract(s) for these services (Centrex Biz Plus, Business Choice Connect, and/or ISDN PRI) may be renewed on current promotions available or other termed promotion offers prior to 9/1/26. If no action is taken prior to 9/1/26, your service will automatically be re-contracted to the updated pricing or promotion listed above.  Please contact our Business Sales Team at 808-643-4411 to get in touch with your Account Manager to make updates.
