Assistance for Federal Government Employees Affected by Government Shutdown
Due to the ongoing government shutdown, we’re offering assistance to any Federal government employee who may be unable to pay his or her Hawaiian Telcom bill. During this deferment period, we’ll flag your account to avoid disconnection and waive all late fees for up to 30-days after the end of the U.S. Federal Government shutdown. Discussions with Viacom Channels
Hawaiian Telcom is currently in discussions with Viacom, the parent company of MTV Networks, including MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and TV Land. We recently entered into a temporary agreement as we continue discussions. The goal is to reach a new agreement so that there is no impact to your service.
