Hawaiian Telcom’s CPE-based Managed Firewall Service is in conjunction with customer-owned firewall appliance platforms that are housed at the customer location. This includes all enterprise firewall platforms that can report back to Hawaiian Telcom’s Security Operations Center (SOC). A dedicated connection or tunnel is setup between customer premise and Hawaiian Telcom SOC, where security analysts have monitoring and management capabilities over the customer’s firewall.
