Honolulu (January 28, 2022) – Hawaiian Telcom teams will be deploying new fiber cables over a three-week period to expand its world-class fiber broadband service to more Nānākuli residents and businesses. Crews will also perform maintenance and testing to ensure ongoing reliable communication service.
Crews will be working at night to minimize traffic disruption. Work begins on Jan. 31 through Feb. 18, Monday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. One west-bound lane on Farrington Highway, extending from Waimānalo Gulch Sanitary Landfill at 92-460 Farrington Hwy. to Helelua Street, will be closed during this time.
