Identifies the ISDN PRI B and D Channel Configuration per DS1. The field consists of 7 character codes where the: 1. First two numeric characters (positions 1 and 2) identify the sequencing of the first and all subsequent ISDN PRIDS1s. 2. Next two numeric characters (positions 3 and 4) represent the quantity of B Channels ordered per DS1 between 1and 24. 3. Next two numeric characters (positions 5 and 6) are required and represent the number of D Channels ordered perDS1 between 0 and 2. 4. Next alpha character (position 7) is required to designate Non-Facility Associated Signaling (NFAS), allowing multiplePRIs to share a single D Channel. This allows all 24 channels (after the first PRI) to be traffic bearing and/or the ability todesignate a Back up D Channel on a subsequent PRI. |
