Outlook 2002/2003 Account Setup

1. First open Outlook,

2. Next select Tools from the main menu and click E-mail Accounts,

3. Now choose the Add a new e-mail account option then hit the Next button at the bottom,

4. For your account select POP3 from the choices then click Next,

5. Enter your full name in the Your Name box

6. Enter your Hawaiiantel.net e-mail address in the E-mail Address field

7. For the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) field enter: mail.hawaiiantel.net

8. In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) field enter: smtp.hawaiiantel.net

9. When completing the User Name field use your Hawaiiantel e-mail address

10. Enter your password in the Password field

11. Once you have filled out all fields in this menu, click on More Settings...

12. In the General tab you will see a field entitled Mail Account, enter your Hawaiian Telcom E-mail Address as the default as shown below

13. Next click on the Outgoing Server tab,

14. In the Outgoing Server tab you will want to make sure that the box labeled My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checked,

15. Then direclty under that click the Use same settings as my incoming mail server so your screen matches the picture above,

16. Click OK

17. Click Next

18. Lastly click Finish
