We have identified an issue for customers who are using an open relay email system.

If you are a Hawaiian Telcom Internet customer using any type of email management software such as the ones listed below and are currently using an address other than your @hawaiiantel.net address (formerly @verizon.net - This could be hosted domains such as kai@surfco.net or web mail addresses such as kai@gmail.com) you may be using a Verizon Open Relay SMTP address to send email. Click on the email management software you are currently using for detailed instructions on how to fix this issue.
