Connecting with OUR LEGACY

Shalei Dolfo

Corporate Accounts Manager/Friend of the Fishpond

The ancient Hawaiians practiced aquaculture through the construction of fishponds. Thanks to the work of volunteers, some of these fishponds still stand today.

Shalei believes it’s important to know where you come from, and she wants to share that knowledge with her children. That’s why she takes them with her when she volunteers to help maintain the Paepae o Heeia fishpond near her home

Together, we build on the work of those who came before us.
