Connecting with future generations

Dan Masutomi

Director of Network Optimization/Volunteer Conservationist

Dan has been volunteering for reforestation projects for so long that the first saplings he planted now provide a vital habitat for some of the rarest birds on the planet.

As he works, he thinks ahead 25 years or more, when future generations will be able to continue enjoying native Hawaiian trees such as Koa, Ohia, Pilo and Kolea. He thinks also of the indigenous Hawaiian birds that will still have a home.

We are caretakers, connecting with generations to come.
