Wavecom Solutions' Customer Billing

Wavecom Solutions’ customer billing will be performed by Hawaiian Telcom effective August 1, 2014.  As a result, your bill will look different, but please be assured that the services currently provided to you by Wavecom will remain the same. 

Effective August 1, 2014, you’ll be making payments to Hawaiian Telcom and there will be new ways to pay your bill:

  • Automatic Bill Pay: If you currently use Automatic Bill Pay or would like to start, you will need to register at www.hawaiiantel.com/billingPlease note that if you currently have Automatic Bill Pay for your Wavecom bill, we are unable to enroll you for the bills issued by Hawaiian Telcom, therefore you must re-enroll.
  • Mail (by check): Hawaiian Telcom PO Box 30770; Honolulu HI 96820-0770
  • Phone: 855- 748-1077   ($1.95 fee - residential, $3.95 - business)
  • Onlinewww.hawaiiantel.com/billing ($1.95 fee - residential, $3.95 fee - business)
  • Bill Pay Service: (set up with your bank) – fees may apply; refer to your bank for details
  • Pay in Person: Pay at any First Hawaiian Bank Branch.  Bring your payment stub and pay by cash or check. ($1.00 fee)

  • How does this affect me?
    • Beginning August 1, 2014, your billing statements will be sent from Hawaiian Telcom. Payments for these bills will now need to be made to Hawaiian Telcom using their payment methods. You will be receiving the same services.
  • Are my services still provided by Wavecom? 
    • Yes, only the processing of your bill changes.  Wavecom is still the provider of your communication services.
  • Why is this happening?
    • Hawaiian Telcom purchased Wavecom on December 31, 2012.  As part of this merger we continue to integrate support areas to better serve our customers.
  • How do I pay my Wavecom bill after it transitions to Hawaiian Telcom?
    • Automatic Bill Pay - If you currently use Automatic bill pay or would like to start, you will need to register at hawaiiantel.com/billing or call Wavecom at 791-3000 or neighbor islands at 1-800-733-5638.

  • Will I be charged a fee if I pay by check?
    • No
  • When can I register for Hawaiian Telcom’s Automatic bill pay?
    • You will be able to register for Hawaiian Telcom’s Automatic Bill Pay upon receiving your first billing statement with Hawaiian Telcom.
  • I currently have an online account that I use to pay my invoice with Wavecom, will that transfer over to Hawaiian Telcom?
    • No. However, you can sign up online through Hawaiian Telcom and you will be able to view your bill, make payments, etc.
  • Will the price of my services change when Wavecom moves to Hawaiian Telcom’s billing platform?
    • We are simply changing the vendor who creates the bill. While this is not a pricing action, the calculation of your taxes have been adjusted to apply the correct and appropriate taxes and surcharges for your services.
  • What if I have other products/services with Hawaiian Telcom?
    • You will continue to get a separate bill from Hawaiian Telcom for those services.  Your Wavecom services will not be combined with your current Hawaiian Telcom bill.
  • What happens if I’m late in paying my last Wavecom bill?
    • After Wavecom’s billing has been transitioned to Hawaiian Telcom, you’re still responsible for paying off the remaining balance from your Wavecom bill.  Your past due balance will not be transferred to Hawaiian Telcom’s billing system.
  • How do I pay off any remaining balance from my Wavecom bill?
    • Mail in a check – P.O Box 30770 Honolulu, HI  96820-0770
  • Who do I call if I have questions about my bill?
    • Continue to call Wavecom at 791-3000 or from the neighbor islands at      1-800-733-5638.
