Hawaiian Telcom Launches $9.99/Month High-Speed Internet Promotion
HONOLULU (Sept. 14, 2006) –
Starting tomorrow, Hawaiian Telcom is offering its residential High-Speed Internet service for $9.99 per month for the first three months to new subscribers. In addition, both activation and shipping fees are waived. This limited time offer is valid through September 30th.
Hawaiian Telcom residential High-Speed Internet service includes:
- Speeds of up to 3 Mbps
- Free modem
- 10 email boxes
- 100 MB of Web storage space
- Internet security suite
- 24 by 7 local (Oahu-based) technical support
A monthly rate of $29.99 takes effect after the first three months. A one-year contract is required. This offer is limited to new residential customers. In partnership with University of Hawaii Athletics, Hawaiian Telcom is giving its existing residential High-Speed Internet customers a free Single Season iTicket ($39.95 value) for use on www.HTsportsnet.com, which provides live streaming video of UH sports. Details about the free pass are being sent to customers’ hawaiiantel.net e-mail addresses.
HTsportsnet.com offers the convenience of watching live UH sports from your computer at home or anywhere on the planet with a broadband Internet connection. Customers may select a full season of either UH Football, Baseball, Men’s Volleyball, Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Soccer or Men’s Basketball to view using their free iTicket. Games are also archived on the site for later viewing.
