Hawaiian Telcom Residential High-Speed Internet Customers can Receive Internet Security Services at No Cost
Hawaiian Telcom, the state’s leading telecommunications provider, has partnered with Santa Clara-based McAfee, Inc. to provide a package of valuable Internet security features for its residential high-speed Internet customers at no additional cost. McAfee (www.mcafee.com) is the market leader in intrusion prevention for Internet security for homes, businesses and government.
All current and new Hawaiian Telcom residential high-speed Internet customers can opt to receive a suite of McAfee Internet security features, including antivirus protection, firewall, spam and pop-up protection, parental controls, and spyware software. This security enhancement, a $69.99 value, is available at no additional cost to customers.

Existing Hawaiian Telcom High-Speed Internet customers will be notified of this offer in the next few days via a letter with instructions on how they can sign up online by July 15th. Current customers who do not receive a letter by the end of the month should call Hawaiian Telcom’s customer sales department at 643-3456 (toll-free in Hawai'i) to receive their personal promotion code for the McAfee enhancement. To order Hawaiian Telcom High-Speed Internet, customers can call 643-3456 or visit one of Hawaiian Telcom’s nine retail stores. Hawaiian Telcom’s best-selling high-speed Internet package offers maximum speeds of up to 3 Mb (downstream) / 768K (upstream) and a monthly rate of $29.95 with a one-year contract.
