Kevin Nystrom – Chief Operating Officer

Kevin Nystrom is responsible for overseeing all of Hawaiian Telcom’s operations and working closely with the company’s CEO to improve customer service. Mr. Nystrom is a senior director at Kroll Zolfo Cooper, a pre-eminent advisory and management firm, where he has worked for more than seven years. He has advised and assisted clients in the telecom, financial services, manufacturing and transportation industries in designing and executing turnaround plans, developing reorganization plans, formulating business strategies, executing cost reduction programs, negotiating with key constituencies and evaluating business plans.

Prior to joining Kroll Zolfo Cooper in 2000, Mr. Nystrom served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of National Mortgage Corporation and the chief financial officer of a publicly-held REIT, Asset Investors Corporation.

Mr. Nystrom is a graduate of the University of South Dakota with a degree in business administration. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
