Hawaiian Telcom is also committed to keeping our customers informed of changes that may affect them. Changes to Residential Long Distance Services:

Billing Format Options – You now have access to 12 months of bill invoices online which can be downloaded into an Excel spreadsheet. Please note that you will need your new Hawaiian Telcom account number to view the invoice online. View my invoice >>

Call More – Call More will be billed on the Hawaiian Telcom Long Distance Page within the Hawaiian Telcom invoice. In addition, long-distance operator services is now available to Call More subscribers.

Calling Card – New Hawaiian Telcom Calling Cards will be mailed in early April to replace previously issued calling cards. If you have not received your new Hawaiian Telcom Long Distance calling cards by April 20, 2006 please call customer service on 643-3222. For details concerning the use of your new calling card and its features, see our dialing guide. Previously issued cards will no longer work after April 29, 2006.

Hawaiian Telcom Everyday Saversm Advantage - Effective April 1, 2006, the interstate rate on the Hawaiian Telcom Everyday Saver plan is changing so that the interstate rate is 5¢ per minute, regardless of the call duration. Previously, the interstate rate was 8¢ per minute for interstate calls under twenty minutes in duration. The 14¢ per minute inter-island rate will remain the same and the $4.95 monthly fee will not change.

Personal Call Summary – Effective April 1, 2006, this call accounting feature no longer supports six-digit codes. Customers on six-digits should use five-digit codes to complete long distance calls.

Personal Toll Free Service (PTFS) – The new Hawaiian Telcom PTFS no longer requires a PIN. Subscribers of PTFS service will be issued new toll-free numbers in early April to replace their current PTFS number and PIN. Encourage family and friends to start calling you on your new toll-free number immediately as the shared toll-free service that required a PIN will not be supported after May 5, 2006.

Residential Toll Free Service – Effective April 1, 2006, you will be charged solely upon the actual call duration usage will be rated based upon actual usage rather than a minimum average of 30 seconds per call.

Product Name Changes – Your Hawaiian Telcom Long Distance service may have a new name. Full List >>

Federal Universal Service Fee - Effective April 1, 2006, the Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) surcharge will increase to 10.9%. The FUSF surcharge, which is authorized by the FCC and reviewed quarterly, provides funding for programs to keep local telephone rates affordable for all customers and to provide discounts to schools, libraries, rural health care providers and low-income families.
