IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your Internet Service is changing from Verizon Online to Hawaiian Telcom Online

Hawaiian Telcom Services Company, Inc. has entered the final stages of our transition from Verizon’s business support systems to our own. There are important changes that will need to be made to your Internet services as part of this transition and actions that must be taken on your part. Effective April 1, 2006, your Verizon Online services will be replaced by Hawaiian Telcom services. Frequently Asked Questions

NEW E-MAIL ADDRESS AND WEBMAIL:
After April 1, 2006 you will no longer receive e-mail at your verizon.net address as of April 1, 2006. Instead, a hawaiiantel.net e-mail address has automatically been created for you, and all your Verizon e-mail will be forwarded to this new Hawaiian Telcom e-mail address for 30 days. Email Migration Support >>

After April 1, 2006, please go to www.hawaiiantel.net to manage your new e-mail account. Your new login will be your new email (i.e. username@hawaiiantel.net) and your pre-existing Verizon password.

Here are some suggestions to help you manage your new email address:

  1. After April 1st, log into your Verizon email account and forward any emails you want to keep to your new hawaiiantel.net email address.
  2. Notify the contacts in your address book of your new email address.
  3. Make sure to update your address with any online subscriptions, or companies that provide invoices, statements or information to you via email.

NEW PERSONAL WEBSPACE:
On April 1st you will be able to set-up a new web space called Ohana Zone with 100 megabytes of storage. Login at www.hawaiiantel.net and click Ohana Zone to access your new web space. Your Verizon webspace will no longer be available after April 1, 2006.
