Will my voicemail charges change?

No, your voicemail charges will not change. Below are the current charges for Home Voicemail service.

Why is my voicemail being upgraded?

The current system does not support new features available via the web. Most customers use the web for much of their daily work. Now your voicemail can be managed via the web as well.

Will I need to obtain any new equipment?

No, no additional equipment is required. If you want to access your voicemail via the web (internet), you will need access to the internet and a computer.

When will the upgrade occur?

The upgrade will be completed by the end of March 2010. Please check this site regularly to keep apprised of the most current upgrade schedule and what you will have to do to prepare for it.

Will there be a new User Guide?

Yes, a new guide can be downloaded from our website at hawaiiantel.com/voicemailupgrade

Will I have to learn new commands and prompts to use my voicemail?

No, most of the commands you use today will remain the same on the new voicemail platform!

Will I be able to keep old messages that are on my current voicemail box?

Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to transfer messages from your current voicemail box to your new voicemail box. You will have 7 days after the upgrade to listen to messages from your old voicemail box before it is shut down.
