Q1: How can I restrict mobile access to WiFi only connections?
A1: Select “Settings” (gear icon) within the mobile app and set the “WiFi Only” option ON.
Q2: How many profiles are supported per Hawaiian Telcom TV account?
A2: A user is allowed up to (eight) 8 Stingray Music Mobile profiles on one Hawaiian Telcom account. This enables multiple users, who might share the same device, to each have their favorites and listening histories. Multiple profiles can be used by a single user to create different themes.
Q3: I have multiple Stingray Music Mobile profiles on my account. How do I know which profile is in use and how can I change it?
A3: Select “Settings” (gear icon) within the mobile app and go to Profiles. The profile with a check mark next to it indicates which one is currently in use. The current profile name will also appear on the Settings screen. To change the profile, go to the Profiles screen and select the profile you want to change to. The check mark confirms that your profile selection is active.
Q5: Can I create a customized channel?
A5: Yes, with an upgrade to a Stingray Premium subscription account you can customize your channels: like songs and artists to increase their rotation, block songs and artists to exclude them from your music feed. Use the smart channel content editor in the Settings menu after your Premium subscription is set up with Stingray.
Q6: What comes with a Premium account subscription?
A6: In addition to customizing your music channel to increase songs in the rotation or block songs or artist, you can also skip up to 6 songs per hour.
Q7: How much does the Stingray Music Mobile app cost?
A7: Basic access is free with your Hawaiian Telcom TV subscription. An upgrade to a Stingray Premium subscription account is available through in-app subscription for $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Recurring billing feature included. Payment will be charged to your iTunes or Google Market Account at confirmation of purchase.
