Changes to Business Long Distance Services

Billing Format Options – You now have access to 12 months of bill invoices online which can be downloaded into an Excel spreadsheet. Please note that you will need your new Hawaiian Telcom account number to view the invoice online. View my invoice >>

Call Accounting – Effective April 1, 2006, Hawaiian Telcom Long Distance will support 2-5 digit Account Codes. Customers with 6-digit Account Codes have been converted to 5-digit Account Codes.

  • For Validated Account Codes, the 6-digit Account Code will be truncated to 5-digits by dropping the first digit. For example, Account Code 123456 will be truncated to 23456.
  • For Unvalidated Account Codes, customers will only need to dial 5-digits instead of 6-digits.

Calling Card – New Hawaiian Telcom Calling Cards will be mailed in early April to replace previously issued calling cards. If you have not received your new Hawaiian Telcom Long Distance calling cards by April 20, 2006 please call customer service on 643-4411. For details concerning the use of your new calling card and its features, see our dialing guide. Previously issued cards will no longer work after April 29, 2006.

Conference Calling – Hawaiian Telcom has migrated to a new conferencing platform and transitioned most of our customers to the service. If you have not received your new Hawaiian Telcom Conference Call access numbers, please call customer service on 643-4411. For details concerning the use of your new conferencing service and its features, please call 1-888-482-3558. Previously issued numbers will no longer work after March 31, 2006.

Product Name Changes – Your Hawaiian Telcom Long Distance service may have a new name. See full list >>

Federal Universal Service Fee - Effective April 1, 2006, the Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) surcharge will increase to 10.9%. The FUSF surcharge, which is authorized by the FCC and reviewed quarterly, provides funding for programs to keep local telephone rates affordable for all customers and to provide discounts to schools, libraries, rural health care providers and low-income families.
