SUBJECT: IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your Internet Service is changing from Verizon Online to Hawaiian Telcom Internet Service
Hawaiian Telcom Services Company, Inc. is entering the final stages of our transition from Verizon’s business support systems to our own. There are important changes that will be made to your Internet services as part of this transition and alert you to some actions that must be taken on your part. Effective April 1, 2006, your Verizon Online services will be replaced by Hawaiian Telcom services.

For your business, this means:
- New e-mail addresses. If you currently use a ‘verizon.net’ email address, it will be automatically replaced by a “hawaiiantel.net” email address and your inbox will be expanded to 2 gigabytes.
- New Business Net webspace. We will expand your web storage space from 20 megabytes to 100 megabytes.
- New biz.net portal. “www.hawaiiantel.net” will replace “dslstart.verizon.net,” and the new home page will have local news and information.
Below, we have summarized the changes and the solutions that will help make this transition as easy as possible for you.
NEW E-MAIL ADDRESS AND WEBMAIL:
If you currently use Verizon e-mail addresses, then you will no longer receive e-mail at your verizon.net addresses as of April 1, 2006. Instead, hawaiiantel.net e-mail addresses have been automatically be created for you, and all your Verizon e-mail will be forwarded to these new Hawaiian Telcom e-mail addresses for 30 days. After April 1, 2006, please go to www.hawaiiantel.net to manage your new e-mail accounts.
Here are some suggestions to help you manage your new email addresses:
- After April 1, 2006, log into your Verizon email accounts and forward any messages you want to keep to your new Hawaiian Telcom email addresses.
- Notify the contacts in your address book of your new Hawaiian Telcom email addresses.
- Make sure to update your addresses with any online subscriptions, or companies that provide invoices, statements or information to you via email.

NEW BUSINESS WEBSPACE:
On April 1st you will be able to set-up a new web space called Biz Net with 100 megabytes of storage. Login at www.hawaiiantel.net and click Biz Net to access your new web space. If you are currently using your business web space at mysite.verizon.net, make sure you migrate any content that you want to keep to your new Biz Net web space by April 30, 2006. Your Verizon webspace will no longer be available after April 1, 2006.
NEW BIZ.HAWAIIANTEL.NET HOME PAGE:
As of April 1, 2006, you should use the www.hawaiiantel.net portal to manage your email and web space. You will need to log on with your new email address and current password.

If you currently have Domain Name E-mail with Verizon, we will be contacting you with further instructions concerning the transition from Verizon Online to Hawaiian Telcom.
