Michael Brown, Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing
Michael Brown is responsible for sales and marketing for Hawaiian Telcom’s products and services. He has been with the company since its launch in 2005 and has led various divisions, including the customer contact centers, retail stores, wholesale markets, public payphones, and sales operations.

Mr. Brown has an extensive technology and telecommunications background that includes 16 years with various divisions of Lucent Technologies where he served, among other roles, as a sales vice president for optical, services and software.

Prior to joining Hawaiian Telcom, Mr. Brown was vice president – sales operations with NextiraOne, LLC, a major reseller of Nortel and Cisco solutions, where he ran the daily sales operations of a 400-person North American sales team that served top Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Brown also was regional vice president – sales with Voxpath Networks. Mr. Brown has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio; an MBA from Georgia State University; and attended the Kellogg and Duke executive development programs.
