Hawaiian Telcom Same Rates, Same Contacts, A New Look for Bills
When residential customers receive their first bills from Hawaiian Telcom this month, they can expect to see the same rates and applicable fees as they did in their Verizon bills, but there will be a few differences.
As Hawaiian Telcom is supported with Verizon systems on the mainland through 2005, Verizon will continue to collect and process payments. Hawai'i customers should send their checks made payable to Hawaiian Telcom to a new address as specified on their bill:
Hawaiian Telcom,
P.O. Box 9688
Mission Hills, California 91346-9688.
The Mission Hills address change occurred in April for Verizon customers nationwide. The previous address was in Inglewood, California.
Customers may continue to pay their bills by phone, by mail, by an automatic payment plan or in person at any of Hawaiian Telcom’s nine retail stores. Online payment is no longer available but Hawaiian Telcom is working on developing this capability apart from Verizon systems in order to make this option available to Hawai'i customers once again.
Phone numbers and hours for Hawaiian Telcom residential billing inquiries remain the same – Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., phone: 643-3343 (toll-free within the state)
